This is an imalgum of two photographs that I took quite recently at the Clarksville Cemmatary. The pictures were taken with a Sony Cyber Shot Digital Camera. I realize that the final image is a bit emo but I hope that the more dramatic tones help to show that it is more of a retrospective piece rather than a "woe is me, I'm going to go cut myself" kind of feeling. After all, I'm not emo, I can merely appreciate and enjoy making art that employs a sence of self and what we see in ourselves, or in this case, also what we see in others. I hope that this can be viewed as a piece of art rather than an overemotional teenager that wears black nail polish and writes bad poetry to try and redeem oneself. Sorry if this seems like a bit of a rant, but in todays society with our many clicks and ways of labeling one another I sometimes feel the need to justify a piece of my work so that people do NOT automatically label me as something that I am not. Maybe I would not have to feel this way if the rest of my generation did not feel the need to label people, art and everything else in there view like a like an overly anal attentive prude with a label maker and an arsenal of highlighters. I'm afraid however that in speaking like this I do sound like a over dramatized "down with the system" Anarchy sign, all in black spike wearing eighteen year old with anger issues stemming from the fact that" Mommy and Daddy never said that they loved me" type of person, but I assure that I am not. I simply have a bad habit o digressing from what I was talking about and ranting on things whether people want to here them or not. I suggest if you have a problem with any of what i just said, or think that all of my posts are going to be brimming with this type of over done and overly abused views on my generation (which will barely ever be mentioned again) that you should probably just look at the pictures and ignore my words under each. Because if I'm willing to take this tiny little over walked step, what might I say next? And will it offend you?
This is the first installment of some of my new and original images and artwork. More will be on the way soon, I promise. As you can see, I enjoy blending more time tested and normal design techniques and many times blend them with more modern things with the help of computers and my favorite program, Photoshop. If you have questions on any of my projects or would be kind enough to leave some constructive criticism then please drop me a line on the comments and I shall do my best to reply post haste. Thank you for your time and wonderful company. And hey, maybe next time we can have tea and scones at my place?

mm. the secone one is really good. keep it up.
I really, really like the cemetary picture. Sometime, you'll have to explain to me how you turned it blue.
The second one is interesting, but can I ask a favor? If you're going to put words into your art, please, please put the words into a Word Processing program and spell check it before putting it in. Nothing can ruin a great piece of art more than mis-spelled words.
Love you. Tea at my house, next time you're available!
